FARMER FLEE DUE TO INSECURITY IN TARABA STATE.
Mr Agbu Atoshi, a local farmer from Wukari Local government Area of Taraba State, is afraid to go to his farm like many of his colleagues to avoid being killed.
In reference to the PUNCH, Atoshi revealed that, he lost two relations when suspected Tiv men attacked them on the farm near the General Hospital Wukari in August, 2019.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has condoled with John Magufuli, the President of Tanzania, on the death of the country’s ex-President, Benjamin Mkapa, who passed away at the age of 81. He described the late Mkapa as brother and friend, said he was a passionate leader, particularly about the Great Lakes Region contained in a condolence letter by Kehinde Akinyemi, the media aide to Obasanjo.
