The application closing date, for the ongoing recruitment application process, for N-Power Batch C has been released.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, disclosed this through her verified twitter handle.
According to her the management has received over 5m applications, after one month of opening the portal to receive applications.
The Minister expressed further that, the portal will officially close at midnight on August 8th, 2020. This is to extend the opportunity to all Nigerians to ensure it is truly inclusive.
Her words; "One month after the portal opened for Batch C applications we are happy to announce that we have received over 5m applications underlining enthusiasm for the programme".
"In a bid to extend the opportunity to all Nigerians and ensure it is truly inclusive. The portal will close at midnight on August 8th, 2020".
The Acting Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Prof. Keme Pondei, was admitted and treated for High Blood Pressure (HBP) at the National Assembly Clinic, it was gathered on Saturday.
A source, who spoke in confidence, said when Pondei was rushed to the clinic, following a seizure he suffered while answering questions from the House of Assembly probe panel on NDDC, his BP was 200.
He, however, said doctors stabilised him and discharged him the same day.
He said: “The MD survived death. He was rushed to the hospital shortly after he collapsed and the doctors at the National Assembly clinic discovered that his BP had risen to 200.
“He was treated and stabilised and then discharged the same day. He is out of the hospital but I don’t know his whereabouts whether he is in Abuja or back to Port Harcourt”.
